Controller

Seeking an experienced Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations for a local company. The Controller is responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, internal controls, and accounting processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The Controller works closely with executive leadership to provide financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and maintain the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and related accounting activities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Supervise, develop, and support accounting team members while ensuring accountability and timely completion of responsibilities

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance Required
• 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience required
• 3+ more years supervising & developing a team of direct reports
