- Analyze complex investment and financing transactions, including underlying legal agreements, to determine the appropriate accounting treatment and reporting impact
- Advise on technical accounting matters related to private credit investments, new products, strategic initiatives, and transaction activity
- Work closely with deal teams throughout the transaction lifecycle to evaluate proposed structures and address accounting considerations early in the process
- Develop concise, well-documented accounting position papers and coordinate with external auditors and advisors to support final conclusions
- Collaborate with Business Development, Legal, Tax, Structuring, Operations, Investor Relations, and Finance on cross-functional transaction and reporting matters
- Prepare and review management reporting for the private credit platform, as well as related U.S. GAAP financial statements and disclosure requirements
- Contribute to additional Accounting Policy and Financial Reporting initiatives, including periodic close activities, annual audits, and special projects
