Responsibilities

1. Lead all accounting operations for SaaS-focused entities, including GL, revenue recognition, billing, AP/AR, and payroll.
2. Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and manage complex customer contracts.
3. Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with focus on accuracy, efficiency, and completeness.
4. Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures in a fast-growing environment.
5. Manage financial reporting and analysis, including budget vs. actuals, cash flow, and KPIs (MRR, churn, CAC, etc.).
6. Collaborate with the investment team on reporting for portfolio reviews, audits, and board presentations.
7. Prepare for and manage external audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews.
8. Support fundraising, M&A, or exit transactions through diligence and data room preparation.
9. Evaluate and implement systems and tools to improve financial processes (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SaaS metrics platforms).

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of SaaS accounting experience.
• CPA is preferred.
