Controller
Our client, a high-growth, Series B, VC-backed, AI company, is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations and support strategic growth initiatives.
Location: San Francisco, CA. This position is on-site, Monday through Friday. 10-12-hour days are common.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Drive ERP system implementation and future migrations.
- Manage external financial reporting and annual audit processes.
- Develop internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Build and lead a high-performing accounting team to support scale.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 and high-growth tech company exposure.
- Strong ERP implementation and migration experience.
- Proven success in leading audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
Compensation
$200K - $250K base + discretionary bonus and generous equity.
