- Review company credit card activity and employee expenses for receipts, business purpose, proper coding, and policy compliance.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and communicate upcoming funding needs, draw timing, payment obligations, and financial concerns to leadership.
- Provide management with financial statements, job profitability reports, budget variances, and accounts receivable/payable aging reports.
- Establish and maintain documented accounting procedures, approval workflows, and financial controls that support company growth.
- Maintain company business and contractor license records, track renewal deadlines, and coordinate required filings and approvals.
- Maintain subcontractor documentation, including W-9s, insurance certificates, licenses, and lien waivers where applicable.
- Maintain organized financial and supporting records for insurance audits, including payroll reports, subcontractor payments, certificates of insurance, and contracts. Coordinate audit submissions with leadership and insurance representatives.
- Coordinate with project managers, executives, lenders, vendors, and the outside CPA on accounting questions, year-end reporting, and tax preparation support.
