Compensation: $250,000-$270,000 base salary + annual bonus + long-term incentive plan (LTIP)

Position Overview

Atrium is seeking a Controller on behalf of our client, a globally recognized manufacturing organization with operations across multiple international locations.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this highly visible leadership role will oversee global accounting operations, financial reporting, manufacturing finance, and financial systems transformation initiatives. The Controller will serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, helping drive operational excellence, scalability, and long-term growth.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced manufacturing finance executive who combines strong technical accounting expertise with proven leadership experience in complex, multi-site environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across all business units and legal entities
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, consolidations, and management reporting
• Partner with the CFO and executive leadership team to develop and execute long-term financial strategies
• Direct annual audits, statutory reporting, and compliance initiatives while serving as the primary liaison to external auditors
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance frameworks
• Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives across the accounting function
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and operations leadership on cost accounting, inventory management, profitability analysis, and operational performance metrics
• Support ERP transformation initiatives, including SAP governance, system implementation, process redesign, and data migration
• Lead, develop, and mentor accounting teams across multiple locations, with an emphasis on talent development and succession planning
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable international accounting standards

Required Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Minimum 10 years of senior finance and accounting leadership experience
• Significant manufacturing industry experience required
• Deep expertise in:
• Manufacturing accounting
• Cost accounting
• Inventory accounting
• Financial reporting and consolidations
• Proven experience leading multi-national accounting operations
• Experience managing multi-currency financial environments
• Successful track record leading ERP implementation, upgrade, or transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of financial controls, corporate governance, risk management, and compliance
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within electronics, semiconductor, RF, industrial manufacturing, or related industries
• SAP implementation and governance experience
• Experience leading global teams across multiple regions
• Knowledge of transfer pricing and international tax considerations
• Demonstrated success driving operational improvements and finance transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or MBA required
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards

Work Environment

Hybrid schedule with approximately four days onsite and one day remote per week.
