Leading the financial operations of a remote FinTech company, the full-time Controller will manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance while leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee all operational and reporting accounting, maintaining the general ledger and company records Own the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and adherence to the close calendar Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, ensuring timely processing and control over aged payables Required Qualifications 10+ years of relevant accounting experience, with 3+ years as a Controller or equivalent experience Significant experience in high-transaction-volume, recurring-revenue environments, preferably in SaaS or fintech Proven ability to run efficient close processes and implement automation in accounting systems Hands-on experience with AI tools in finance or a demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new technologies Strong skills in QuickBooks and Excel; familiarity with Salesforce and similar tools is a plus
