CV Resources is partnering with a well-established organization to identify a Controller who will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting and finance operations
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Support annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Monitor internal controls and financial policies
- Support grant and contract accounting functions
- Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and reporting
- Maintain accounting systems and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes
- Experience with government, grant, nonprofit, educational, or public-sector accounting is highly preferred
