Job Title: Corporate Controller
Location: Cos Cob, CT (5 days onsite)
Compensation: Up to $200K base DOE + ~$150K bonus potential
Position Overview
A publicly traded, multi-entity organization is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function during a period of growth and transformation. This is a highly visible role reporting to the CFO, with ownership over consolidations, SOX compliance, and financial reporting , along with involvement in M&A and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations, including consolidations and eliminations
- Oversee SOX compliance and ensure strong internal controls
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Support public company reporting and audit readiness
- Partner on M&A activity and integration of new entities
- Drive ERP and process improvements across the finance function
- Prepare materials and present to executive leadership and board
Qualifications
- CPA required
- Big 4 background
- Public company experience
- Strong expertise in SOX, consolidations, and technical accounting
- Experience with M&A and/or system implementations
