About the Opportunity

· Lead the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting functions across multiple operating entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

· Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

· Oversee all core accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger management, and cash management.

· Direct project accounting activities, including job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis.

· Partner with project managers and operational leaders to provide financial insights, improve project reporting, and support informed decision-making.

· Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, including maintaining accurate cash flow projections and financial performance models.

· Prepare financial analysis, key performance metrics, and reporting packages for senior leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.

· Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

· Strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures while driving continuous improvement across accounting and finance operations.

· Optimize data flow and reporting between accounting and project management systems to improve visibility into project and company performance.

· Collaborate with external accounting partners, advisors, and service providers to support regulatory compliance and reporting requirements.

· Help build and scale the organization's future-state finance function, serving as a trusted business partner to executive leadership during a period of growth.

About You

· CPA designated.

· 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.

· Management level experience.

· Strong job costing and project accounting background (Construction industry experience is highly preferred)

· Well-rounded skillset (Accounting/Reporting, FP&A, Strategy).

Salary Range

$140,000 - $200,000/year
