Controller | Manufacturing, Cost Accounting & Inventory
We're partnering with a growing multi-plant manufacturer seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and finance operations while partnering closely with plant leadership to drive profitability and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and multi-entity consolidations.
- Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost accounting.
- Analyze labor, material, freight, scrap, and overhead variances to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage inventory controls, physical inventory, cycle counts, and working capital initiatives.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to improve margins and manufacturing efficiency.
- Lead and develop the accounting team while strengthening financial controls and processes.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience with a strong manufacturing background.
- Expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, standard costing, and GAAP.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities and ERP environments.
- Business Central experience is a plus.
