Controller

Location: On-Site – Canton, Ohio
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities for the Controller:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities.
  • Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting processes.
  • Partner with operations leadership to analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and profitability.
  • Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and growth-focused financial decision-making.

Qualifications for the Controller:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience building processes, improving efficiencies, and supporting company growth.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred.
