This role is critical in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our company.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & OversightLead all accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reportingProduce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsMaintain and improve internal controls and financial processesJob Costing & Project Financial ManagementOversee real-time job cost tracking across all active projectsEnsure alignment between budgets, commitments, and actual costsMonitor and report on project-level profitability and margin fade/gainPartner with PMs and Project Executives to identify financial risks earlyWIP & Revenue RecognitionManage Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and revenue recognitionEnsure proper cost-plus and percentage-of-completion accountingIdentify and flag under/over-billings and cash exposureCash Flow & ForecastingDevelop and maintain rolling cash flow forecastsManage company liquidity, banking relationships, and draw schedulesForecast financial performance based on backlog and pipelineStrategic & Operational SupportSupport pricing strategy, fee structures, and contract reviewWork closely with estimating and operations to improve margin performanceTeam & Process DevelopmentOversee and mentor accounting staffImprove systems integration (e.g., Procore + accounting software)Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
