Key Responsibilities for the Controller
- Lead accounting team and oversee financial reporting activities.
• Manage cost accounting, inventory tracking, reconciliations, and cost allocations.
• Analyze financial and operational results, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Partner with operations leadership on budgeting, planning, and business initiatives.
• Develop and enhance ERP reporting, dashboards, and financial analytics.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Qualifications for the Controller
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or another inventory-intensive industry.
• Strong inventory accounting and inventory reconciliation experience.
• Cost accounting experience including allocations, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Experience leading and developing accounting staff.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
