LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing, privately held organization in Aventura, FL on a confidential search for an experienced Controller.

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CFO and overseeing a team of approximately 10 professionals across accounting, AP/AR, FP&A, analytics, and related functions.

The organization generates approximately $120M in annual revenue and is continuing to scale rapidly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions

• Manage, develop, and support a team of approximately 10 professionals

• Ensure a high level of accuracy across financial reporting, close, reconciliations, and accounting processes

• Partner closely with the CFO, COO, and other senior executives

• Operate with urgency in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

• Remain hands-on and willing to work directly in the details when necessary

• Support both corporate accounting responsibilities and select personal financial matters for ownership

• Respond effectively to urgent and time-sensitive requests

• Help improve processes, controls, reporting, and scalability as the organization continues to grow

Qualifications:

• Significant Controller, Corporate Controller, VP Accounting, or similar accounting leadership experience

• Strong people-management and team-development experience

• Excellent communication skills with senior executives and C-suite leadership

• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background

• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

• Experience within a privately held, PE-backed, entrepreneurial, or middle-market organization preferred

• CPA highly preferred

• Big 4 public accounting experience highly desirable

• NetSuite experience strongly preferred

• Strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and sense of urgency

Compensation & Schedule:

• Base salary: $175,000–$200,000

• Full-time, 100% onsite

• Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
