Controller

We’re partnering with a growing, global manufacturing organization to hire a Controller . This newly created leadership role will oversee general ledger operations, strengthen financial reporting processes, and support continued growth and transformation across the North American business. This is a hybrid position (2-3 days/week onsite).

Reporting to the Sr. Senior Manager, you’ll lead a team of three, provide technical accounting expertise, and have opportunities to influence processes, develop talent, and take on broader responsibilities as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting standards.
• Oversee general ledger activities, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and equity accounting.
• Manage consolidation and reporting processes.
• Coach and develop a team of three accounting professionals.
• Identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and establish standardized procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external audit support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated potential to lead and develop a team.
