Growing professional services organization seeks a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive profitability, improve processes, and support business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting functions, including GL, AP, AR, payroll oversight, fixed assets, and cash management.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.Manage month-end and year-end close processes.Ensure GAAP compliance, strong internal controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.Coordinate audits, banking relationships, tax filings, and treasury activities.Analyze business performance, margins, labor costs, and profitability to support strategic decision-making.Partner with department leaders on budgeting, financial planning, and operational initiatives.Drive process improvements, automation, and system optimization.Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team.
