We are partnering with a leading bank seeking a VP-level Controls Testing Data & Analytics professional to help enhance its risk-based testing capabilities through data analytics, automation, and AI.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance data analytics and reporting capabilities to support risk-based testing, control monitoring, and validation activities.
- Design and build dashboards, automated reporting, and analytical solutions using SQL, Power BI, and other technologies.
- Leverage AI and automation to improve testing efficiency, identify control gaps, and streamline manual processes.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Technology, and business stakeholders to translate testing and control objectives into actionable analytics.
- Execute risk-based testing, assess control effectiveness, and identify opportunities to strengthen monitoring and reporting processes.
What You'll Need
- 8+ years of experience within banking or financial services, ideally across Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, or Controls Testing.
- Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, Power BI, and data analytics/reporting tools.
- Prior experience executing risk-based testing, evaluating controls, or supporting audit and compliance reviews.
- Experience developing automated reporting, dashboards, and process improvements.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and risk and control frameworks.
- Experience leveraging AI or automation to improve testing, monitoring, or reporting processes is a plus.
