Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and support plant production units to meet safety, environmental, quality, and production targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all regulatory requirements
- Monitor plant performance using meters, gauges, and control systems; record operating data
- Adjust manual or automatic controls to maintain proper operating conditions or switch systems as needed
- Inspect equipment regularly to detect malfunctions and perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance
- Assist maintenance with PMs, inspections, repairs, and other tasks to ensure reliability and productivity
- Enter and track work orders in Maximo
- Maintain logs, reports, and operational documentation
- Communicate issues, abnormalities, and shift updates to team members and supervisors
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards and report any deviations
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Support SOP development, Job Safety Analyses, and safe work practices
- Train and coach team members; support skill development and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership across departments
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain operational continuity
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Associate's degree or 2-5 years of related experience required
- Must hold a 3rd Class Stationary Engineer License (Ohio)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical comprehension skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Work in environments with heat, noise, fumes, moving equipment, heights, and electrical hazards
- Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs
