Schedule: Modified dupont - 7 on, 7 off

Core Responsibilities
- Continuously observes Distributed Control Systems (DCS), gauges, charts, and monitors to track voltage, electricity flows, temperature, and pressure.
- Remotely starts, stops, or adjusts generators, turbines, boilers, and cooling systems based on system demands.
- Troubleshoots operational anomalies, diagnoses the cause of alarms, and takes immediate corrective action.
- Directs the work of field operators and maintenance technicians on-site and communicates with power distributors and grid dispatchers.
- Requires a High School diploma or GED
- Strong foundation in math and science, high technical aptitude, and the ability to remain calm and make critical decisions during emergencies.
- 2+ years of control room operations experience within a natural gas combined cycle or simple cycle plant.
- We're also open to folks who have other power plant experience but at least understand the steam cycle.
