Job Title: Control Room Operator

Responsibilities

Monitor instruments, gas turbines, steam conditions, and generator loads from control panels.

Issue and manage lockout/tag-out (LOTO) permits, hot work permits, and confined space entry permits.

Diagnose equipment anomalies and create work requests for the maintenance team.

Maintain detailed operational logs, event tracking, and environmental compliance records.
Requirements

High school diploma with extra training in trade school, military service, or technical equivalents.

Approximately 5 years of direct experience in steam or electric power plant operations and equipment maintenance.

Applied knowledge in mechanics, electronics, water chemistry, or instrument and control systems.

Familiarity with computerized databases, spreadsheets, and plant management software.
