Control Process OperatorArcosa Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a Control Process Operator for our Lancaster, SC plant. The Control Process Operator sets up and operates machines, and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas. Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.What You'll Do:Set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically heats, mills, cuts, forms, drills, broaches, or reams metal, plastic, or processed material partsTroubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustmentsMake general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequenceFollow all safety rules and practicesWhat You'll Need:Minimum of 1 year of experienceAbility to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirementsAbility to operate CNC/PLC equipment (Whitney-plasma/punch; Kinetic; Oxy-fuel cutting; Plasma cutting; CNC machining center/drills, presses, mills)Ability to maintain good attendanceEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
