Control Panel Electrician
We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Electrician to join our team, where you'll be responsible for wiring schematics provided for panel wiring and arranging components as per layout drawings. You will work with a range of control cabinet sizes and perform tasks such as panel building, sensor installation, and machine wiring. Additionally, you will engage in maintenance and troubleshooting tasks for plant equipment. While out-of-town travel is rare, it may occasionally be required.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Perform point-to-point wiring of internal components such as terminal blocks, relays, PLCs, motor starters, and drives.
- Mount inverter drives, PLCs, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, contractors, and terminals.
- Use hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment effectively.
- Execute temporary interconnect wiring for testing procedures under supervision.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks for plant equipment as needed.
Essential Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial control panel and machine wiring.
- Ability to perform LOTO procedures for testing or maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools, hand crimpers, wire cutters, wire strippers, and electrical testing equipment like multi-meters.
- Familiarity with electric motor connections for testing.
- Experience with EMT, Flex, and Rigid conduit (training available).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Basic tool kit required; specialty tools provided.
- Experience with panel building and control systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
