We are seeking an experienced Control & SCADA Engineer to design, develop, test, and commission control systems for energy projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SCADA, PLCs, plant controls, and grid integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and commission SCADA, PLC, and control systems.
- Configure and maintain RTUs, PLCs, and microgrid controllers.
- Work with communication protocols including MODBUS, DNP3, and IEC 61850 .
- Support SCADA, AGC, GMS, and related control applications.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, and field commissioning.
- Support grid integration and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot and improve control system performance.
- Work with vendors, contractors, construction, and operations teams.
- Develop technical standards and specifications.
- Support energy storage, microgrid, and DERMS projects.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with SCADA, PLC programming, and plant automation.
- Experience with solar, wind, or energy storage projects.
- Experience with grid interconnection and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DERMS and substation automation.
- Knowledge of reactive power and frequency control.
- Experience with STATCOM systems.
- Project management or team leadership experience.
