You will report to the Contracts Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA.
The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing contracts, which shall include reviewing, drafting, negotiating, novating and executing various Contracts and Agreements.As a Contracts Manager, you will:Ensure and maintain effective commercial governance in accordance with policies, procedures and processes.Ability to work to deadlines, the successful individual must have excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracySupport and implement commercial objectives and their effective management and achievementImplementation of effective contract management during project lifecycles, including customer liaison and customer relationship management on contractual mattersContribute to the commercial aspects of bids, including the drafting of terms and conditionsPreparation, review and negotiation of agreements, including but not limited to NDA's/PIA's, LTA's, Novation's, Contracts, to protect Company's commercial and legal interestEnsure the effective flow of prime terms into contractual arrangements with suppliersLead contract negotiations for terms and conditions and manages contracts through senior functional management, referring to legal counsel when necessaryMaintain an awareness of current statutory requirements influencing contract development and administrationCoach and develop junior members of the team to deliver against objectivesExperience in Supplier/Subcontractor terms and relationship managementAdhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety; data protection; equal opportunities ensuring compliance with local policies and proceduresComply with statutory requirements and regulations and Ontic Group policiesUndertake such other duties commensurate with the role that may be required from time to timeMain Qualifications and Requirements:Relevant business degree or minimum of 3 years' prior commercial and contractual experience demonstrating the above responsibilities.Working experience of US Federal Acquisition FARS/DFARS and UK MOD DEFCON'sExperience of working with a diverse customer group baseDemonstrate the ability to identify key areas in contract terms supplied by other parties, that if accepted would represent a significant risk to the Company.Our Benefits:Comprehensive medical insuranceCompetitive PTOCompany 401K plan with up to 4% matched contributionAnnual bonus program (varies by level and discretionary based on company and individual performance)Flexible working arrangementsPaid volunteering opportunitiesAccess to mental health champions across our sitesCommitment to developmentEmployee referral programEOE/Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disability/VeteranCompensation Pay RangeAdded $115k in total base pay; please add in appropriate compensation range to target.
