Remote Contract General

Contractor, BiostatisticianWe are seeking an experienced Contractor, Biostatistician to support Clinical Development and Medical Affairs.

The role will support data analysis strategy and execution including publication based on clinical trials, external comparator analyses, and evidence generation strategies to support post-marketing, payer, and hypothesis generation analysis. This role will also provide statistical consultation to the analysis of real-world data. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Clinical Development, Medical, HEOR, and Commercial.Responsibilities and Duties:Partner with medical for publication strategiesProvide statistical expertise in analyses using external control and/or synthetic control, meta-analyses, and causal inference analyses, e.g. propensity score matching methodContribute to manuscripts, abstracts and presentationsWrite and/or review statistical analysis plansWork with statistical programmers to conduct ad hoc analyses; Conduct quality review of statistical analysesPerform statistical programming for advanced statistical methodologies and help statistical programmers QC their programsDevelop TLF shells and review programming specsReview protocols for real world evidence studiesReview relevant medical literatureMinimum Requirements:Experience:S., Biostatistics or Ph.D. in Biostatistics or equivalent with at least 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or equivalent experience.Other:Good understanding of meta-analyses and causal inference methodologiesPrior experience working with medical affairs and commercialStrong statistical reasoning and problem-solvingAbility to communicate complex methods to non-statistical stakeholdersHigh attention to data quality and methodological rigorAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentUnderstand good clinical practice guidelinesGood statistical programming skills using relevant statistical softwareFamiliarity with regulatory guidance on RWE and HTA requirementsOncology experience preferredLocation: Syndax's corporate office is in New York, NY.This is a remote opportunity.About Syndax: Syndax Pharmaceuticals is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company advancing innovative cancer therapies.
