We are seeking experienced contract wellness veterinarians at TCAP to be part of our mission to end pet overpopulation and improve community animal welfare throughout DFW. Some travel in the metroplex may be required.

General Responsibilities:
- Vaccinate pets in a high-volume setting; perfect your craft
- Provide oversight to veterinary assistants
- Prescribe flea/tick prevention
- Draw blood for heartworm testing and FIV/Felv testing
- Prescribe heartworm prevention (following negative test at our clinic)
- Draw up vaccines when needed
- Perform cursory exams to ensure pets are healthy enough for vaccines
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed veterinarian in the state of Texas
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and have reliable transportation
- Must have Professional Liability Insurance
