Duties
You will serve as technical authority on the acceptability and applicability of contractual matters related to the program.
You will review procurement requests to assure clarity, adequacy and completeness.
You will prepare contracts and contract specifications for development, demonstration models, and/or preliminary design when new or untried concepts or techniques are involved.
You will review contract terms and technical specifications to identify any special requirements.
You will conduct post-award conferences with the contractor to clarify contractual requirements and special provisions.
You will analyze settlement proposals, audit reports, technical evaluations, and subcontractor claims.
You will serve as Source Selection Authority or Source Selection Board member, evaluating contractor past performance, price, experience and technical ability.
You will interpret procurement regulations and policies for activity specialists.
You will perform Contract Management Reviews and conduct studies of problem areas.
