Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel LPN LTC for 13-week travel/ contract position in Powers, MI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates

Position Name: Travel LVN/LPN Long Term Care

Pay Rate: Range $1500 to $1600 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: LTC

Shift: 8 Hours; Nights, 11.00p - 7.30a | Days, 7.00a - 3.30p | Afternoons, 3.00p - 11.30p

Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed , 5 shifts per week, Mon-Fri including weekends as needed, holiday rotation required if scheduled

Position Requirements:

• Current LTC experience: 1+ years - Required
  
• Ability to move up to 25 lbs. & frequently lift and/or move morethan 50 lbs.
  
• Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress related toworking with persons who are ill, disabled, elderly and/or emotionally upset.
  
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent literacy and writing,documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities
  
• Must have own /reliable transportation,there is no ride share available in this area. Must be comfortabledriving in snow and ice. -Required.
  
• Prior travelexperience: Highly preferred
  
• Covid Vaccination Proof or Status - Required
  

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:

• LPN License for State of Michigan - Required
  
• BLS Certification from AHA- Required
  

Job Description:

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN
  
• Making frequent rounds to evaluate the resident status
  
• Passing medication to patients as required by their physician
  
• Providing wound care
  
• Documenting care that is provided and assure that practices areconsistent with facility policies and procedures
  
• Oversee nursing assistants and ensureassignments are complete
  

• No more than 5 daysRTO will be approved, RTO dates must be provided with the submission
  
• No block scheduleguaranteed/ Must be able to workasneeded.
  
• ATTENDANCE is a MUST--Facility reserves the right to cancelan active assignment due to multiple NC/NS, call-outs, etc...
  
• Facilityhas a cat and dog that live onsite full time.Please make sure candidates are aware in case they are uncomfortablewith dogs or casts or have any allergies to them
