Contribute to public health and safety through ethical, compassionate care.Key Responsibilities:Medical Care Delivery: Conduct physical exams, diagnose/treat acute/chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and interpret diagnostic tests.Records Management: Maintain accurate, compliant documentation of patient care.Consultations & Referrals: Collaborate with specialists and the Department's Office of Health Services for complex cases.
Refer inmates to specialists when medically necessary.Emergency Care: Provide urgent medical services within the facility or local hospitals. Perform required employee health services, such as physical exams and emergency care.Compliance: Adhere to Department of Corrections policies, including confidentiality, licensure updates, and professional conduct.
