Contract Mammography Technologist
CompuRay Medical Staffing is hiring an ARRT(M) Mammography Technologist for a contract assignment with a welcoming outpatient imaging center in, IL.
This position is ideal for a technologist who enjoys a fun, professional outpatient environment and takes pride in providing excellent patient care and high-quality breast imaging.
Qualifications
- ARRT (M) certification required
- Current ARRT registration
- Illinois license/authorization as required
- Current BLS/CPR
- Must meet all applicable MQSA, ACR, and ARRT mammography requirements
- Mammography positioning and image-quality experience
- Screening and diagnostic mammography experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
- Provide accurate patient positioning and high-quality images
- Follow established radiation-safety and quality-control procedures
- Maintain documentation according to facility, ACR, MQSA, and ARRT standards
- Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and the outpatient imaging team
