Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse: 3 years - Required
- Recent/Current Psychiatric Nursingexperience: 1 year – Required
- Recent/Current experience withChemical Dependency or Substance Abuse Disorders – Highly preferred
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid
Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred
- RN License for State of ME orCompact - Required
- CPI Certification - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA- Required
Job Description:
- The Registered Nurse on theAdult Chemical Dependency unit isanessential member of our patientcare team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirectpatient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas.
- They will be responsible forconsistently and independently conducts a thorough admission interview andsystematic physical assessment, assessing the needs for services of otherhealth care professionals to facilitate the delivery of patient care, anddeveloping, implementing and revisingappropriate patient care plans.
- They will carefully andthoroughly document patient conditions, care given and responses to caregiven and performs patient education and facilitates groups.
