Our client a prestigious law firm based in White Plains, NY is seeking a Contract IP Litagaton Attorney for a long term project. The role is remote and would start asap.
Work directly with clients and partners on active litigation matters. Immediately provide substantive support to an extremely busy litigation team. Take ownership of assigned matters with limited supervision.
Immediately provide substantive support to an extremely busy litigation team. Take ownership of assigned matters with limited supervision. Take initial drafting responsibility for pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery motions, and pre-trial submissions. Participate in case strategy and planning. Assist with ESI and document review strategy. Provide immediate bandwidth while permanent associates are out on leave.
Must be available for full-time hours. Must be able to start ASAP. USPTO registration is preferred for patent-focused candidates.
5+ years of IP litigation experience.
Substantial litigation experience in federal court.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Experience drafting substantive federal court filings.
Ability to independently manage substantive litigation assignments.
Ability to quickly understand sophisticated legal and factual issues.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
