Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking Behavioral Health Registered Nurses for travel /contract position in Spencer, IA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate:Range $2100 to $2235 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 7p-7.30a or Days, 7a-7.30p

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
• Recent/Current PsychiatricNursing or Behavioral health in an adult inpatient unit: 2 years – Required
• Must be willing to float to othermedical units as needed such as med surg

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred
• RN License for State of IA orMulti-State - Required
• CPI Certification - Preferred
• BLS and ACLS Certifications fromAHA- Required

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects ofPsychiatric Nursing care for patients in an adult inpatient psych unit.
• Provide and coordinate care byassessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursingcare plans.
• Responsible forassessment, diagnosis, planning andestablishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
• Float to other medical units whenneeded such as med surg.
• Accurately and promptly implementsphysicians’ orders.
• Prepares, administers, andrecords medications in accordance with the policy regarding theadministration of medications.
• Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
• Participates in multidisciplinarytreatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
