Day Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Contract CVICU Registered Nurse

San Antonio, TX

Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 AM End Time: 07:00 PM

Shift Type: Day Shift

Assignment Length: 13 / 26 Weeks

Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A

All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy

Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years

Information below is requested for better sourcing:

• Documentation system: Meditech
• Hemodynamic monitoring- swans, art lines
• Ventilator management
• Strong critical thinking skills
• 2 years or more ICU experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH Certification

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech charting/ order entry - Preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)

• ACTIVE TX RN License – NO TEMP LICENSE ACCEPTED
• Post CABG
• Post VAD
• Post Cath with various cardiac support devices- IABP, Impella, ecmo
