Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurse for a travel/contract position in Byron Center, MI. Accepting both local and travelercandidates.

ContractLength: 13 weeks

Pay Rate:Range $2016 to $2052 Weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, three shifts per week; Mon-Fri with EOW, Block scheduling not guaranteed. Schedules are given 6 weeks at a time.

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
  
• Recent/Current Inpatient Acute PsychiatricNursing or Behavioral health experience: 2 years – Required
  

Education, License, and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
  
• BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred
  
• RN License for State of MI- Required
  
• HWC Certification- Preferred (Offered at the facility during onboarding)
  
• BLS Certification from AHA orAmerican Red Cross - Required
  

Job Description:

• Provide all aspects of Psychiatric nursing care in the assigned units.
  
• Coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative effortswith health team members in accordance with the nursing process and thestandards of care and practices.
  
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, basedon physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria,appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  
• Provide care within Adult and Children Inpatient units, may float toother units if required
  
• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs and Develop andimplement nursing care plans
  
• Admissions, Patient monitoring and charting
  
• Comfortable with paper charting for orders and meds
  
• Collaborate with other medical staff for patient care planning andadministration
