Contract Analyst IIIThe Contract Analyst III is responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial and government-related contracts to support business operations within the AD&M business unit. This role ensures contract terms align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while proactively identifying and mitigating risk. The position partners cross-functionally to drive effective contract execution, compliance, and lifecycle management.Key Responsibilities:Review, draft, edit, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements and U.S.

Government (USG) contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirementsSupport contract negotiations and provide risk-based guidance to achieve balanced outcomes between legal protections and business needsReview and assess contract terms, including flowdowns (e.g., FAR/DFARS), to ensure compliance and consistency with company policiesMonitor contracts and subcontracts to identify risks, gaps, trends, or potential issues; escalate findings and recommend mitigation strategiesTrack and manage the full contract lifecycle, including execution, amendments, renewals, extensions, terminations, and close-outs, and communicate key milestones to stakeholdersEnsure contracts accurately reflect business requirements, customer specifications, and all applicable legal, regulatory, and audit obligationsMaintain contract files and systems, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-readyPartner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality) to support contract execution, approvals, and issue resolutionParticipate in cross-functional meetings and customer discussions to identify and resolve material contractual issuesDevelop and coordinate contracting strategies for customers to support successful implementation of agreements, amendments, and pricing updatesCompile and support preparation of contract exhibits, pricing documentation, and related materialsCreate correspondence and documentation related to contractual matters (e.g., amendments, notices, letters)Support compliance activities, audits, and reporting by identifying metrics and providing data-driven insightsEducate and advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, key business risks, and contracting processesSupport development and continuous improvement of contracting policies, procedures, training materials, and toolsContribute to special projects and process improvements to enhance contract management effectivenessQualifications:Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles and familiarity with U.S. government contracting (FAR/DFARS)Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and business risksExperience reviewing and negotiating moderately complex contractsStrong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functionsHigh attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to balance legal risk with business objectives and exercise sound judgmentEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, legal studies, or a related field required5+ years of relevant experience in contract management, legal support, or a related fieldExperience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments is strongly preferredFamiliarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and related supplementsAdvanced degree or legal training (e.g., JD, LLM, or equivalent) is a plus but not requiredCompensation:Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $92,600 – $115,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + BenefitsBenefits:A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefitsImportant Notice Regarding Recruitment Fraud:TE Connectivity has become aware of fraudulent recruitment activities being conducted by individuals or organizations falsely claiming to represent TE Connectivity.
