Driving operational excellence initiatives, the full-time Continuous Improvement Manager will focus on hands-on process improvements in assembly, testing, and electro-mechanical production areas while ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and ITAR standards in a home-based position. Key responsibilities Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production floor performance Identify and eliminate waste using Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and VSM Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve efficiency and quality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field 7+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in defense, aerospace, or battery manufacturing Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Hands-on Lean/Six Sigma experience with a Gemba mindset Experience working directly on the production floor in a project environment
