Systems AdministratorLocation: Annapolis Junction, MarylandClearance: TS/SCI w/ PolygraphPosition is contingent upon contract awardPosition RequirementsProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systemsManage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systemsProvide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systemsProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems (U) Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etcProvide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planningProvide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems;Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated ticketsProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution processConfigure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceSupport the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware; Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systemsInfrastructure experience installing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and using system security (container security, virtual machine security, security boundary enforcement), configuration, and reporting tools.Infrastructure experience with the following tools is strongly preferred: ELK, Tripwire, VMware, RedHat SELinux security tool suiteBasic RequirementsLevel 0 requires a degree in a relevant technical field (for example, computer science, mathematics, or physics), entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.Level 1 requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience.Level 2 requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.Level 3 requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.Who We AreSunayu, LLC serves as a premier technology partner to the Defense and Intelligence communities, delivering mission-critical engineering solutions across the nation.
