Onsite Full Time Arbitration

We are a boutique, client-focused law firm dedicated to fighting for justice in employment law, civil rights matters and other plaintiffs matters. As a small firm, we pride ourselves on giving high-level, personalized attention to impactful cases. We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial litigator to partner with us as co-counsel on a growing docket of contingency-based litigation.

Position Overview

This is not a salaried employment position. We are looking for an independent attorney or small firm partner to act as co-counsel on specific, high-stakes matters. You will share the workload, risk, and financial rewards of contingency-based cases involving workplace discrimination, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, civil rights violations and other plaintiffs-side cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Litigation Management : Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Depositions & Hearings : Lead or assist in key depositions, oral arguments, and evidentiary hearings.
  • Case Evaluation : Collaborate on vetting incoming potential contingency cases for liability and damages.
  • Trial Preparation : Jointly develop trial strategies, prepare witnesses, and try cases to verdict if necessary.
  • Client Management : Maintain regular, empathetic communication with clients throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) : Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission : Active license in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for employment or civil rights law.
  • Financial Independence : Must have your own practice infrastructure (malpractice insurance, research tools, office setup) to support shared case management.
  • Track Record : Proven ability to handle depositions, complex motions, and case development independently.
  • High Earning Potential : Compensation is structured strictly as a fee-splitting arrangement based on successful contingency recoveries, compliant with state bar ethical rules.
  • Resource Sharing : Collaborative access to shared case data, joint strategy sessions, and pooled administrative insights.
  • Flexibility : Manage your own schedule and workload while partnering on highly rewarding, impactful civil rights cases.
