About The Team

You'll be joining our growth team that focuses on building authentic connections with individuals navigating complex immigration journeys. We're a tight‑knit group of 8‑12 people who believe in the power of human connection and community‑building to help people find the legal support they need. The team collaborates closely with sales, product, and customer success to create seamless experiences that genuinely serve our audience.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate has a journalistic, editorial instinct and the operational hustle of a growth marketer—someone who can craft compelling narratives while obsessing over conversion metrics and channel performance. You’ve spent 3+ years honing your craft as a writer, journalist, or content marketer in an industry where precision matters, whether that’s breaking down complex financial products, explaining insurance coverage nuances, or making legal processes accessible to everyday people. You’ve navigated the unique challenges of creating compelling content within heavily regulated spaces, balancing engaging storytelling with absolute accuracy and compliance requirements. Your experience has taught you how to work effectively with subject‑matter experts, extracting technical knowledge and transforming it into content that educates and converts, building trust with audiences who need reliable information to make important life decisions. A major bonus would be experience optimizing content for SEO and AEO and/or growing a LinkedIn/newsletter following.

What You’ll Do

We need a content marketer who can own a vertical end‑to‑end—writing articles that rank, repackaging them for the channels where our future clients actually spend time, and building AI‑powered workflows that let one person produce the output of three.

Writing and content production (~60%): You’ll own the editorial vertical end‑to‑end: research, outline, draft, and ship long‑form articles, explainers, FAQ hubs, and landing pages that rank in organic search and get cited in AI search. You’ll support webinar content production: speaker prep docs, talking points, follow‑up content, repurposed clips, and recaps. You’ll develop a deep working knowledge of your vertical and become the in‑house authority on what content this audience actually needs. You’ll build AI workflows to scale research, drafting, and content variants, and determine which steps a human still owns. You’ll partner with our attorneys as subject‑matter experts: extract their knowledge efficiently, fact‑check rigorously, and make their expertise legible to a general audience.

Distribution (~40%): You’ll repackage your own long‑form into the formats people actually consume: LinkedIn posts and carousels, threads, short clips, email sequences, and landing pages. You’ll own LinkedIn presence for your vertical: posts, carousels, and ghostwritten content for our attorneys. You’ll partner with newsletter editors on segmentation and conversion to get your content in front of the right inbox and drive measurable consults back to the site. You’ll partner with our growth associate who owns Reddit, Facebook groups, and community surfaces to amplify what works there into your channels, and vice versa. You’ll own the metrics: organic traffic and rankings for your vertical, referral traffic from social, newsletter conversions, branded search lift, citations in AI search, and attributable consults.

This For You If

You’re a writer who thinks like an operator and loves when content performs well across multiple channels. You don’t wait for a brief but proactively see gaps in content verticals, build workflows, ship pieces, repackage them, and report on results. You genuinely care about immigration policy and the people we serve, and you’re willing to dig into nuance and develop real perspective over time.

Not For You If

If you want a strategy‑only role and don’t want to be hands‑on writing articles, building workflows, QAing newsletters, and pulling reports yourself, this isn’t it. We’re not looking for someone who needs a content brief handed to them, who treats AI as a threat rather than a tool, or who views distribution as someone else’s problem once the article ships. If you optimize for word count or post frequency at the cost of quality, or if you need a fully built‑out playbook to start, you won’t thrive here. Also this role is not remote; it requires presence in our NYC office five days a week.
