Content Creator — Gainesville, FL

We're hiring a Content Creator in Gainesville, FL to be the face and voice of our brand on social media. You'll plan, shoot, edit, and star in content across our channels — short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), static posts and carousels, and email campaigns — and help grow our audience from the ground up. This is a hands-on, creative role: one day you're scripting and filming on location, the next you're editing, posting, and digging into what performed and why.

The position includes free housing in Gainesville, making it a great fit for someone early in their marketing career who wants real ownership, a visible portfolio, and very low living costs.

• Create 5–10 pieces of original content per week (video, posts, carousels), from concept to published post
• Design static posts and carousels (Canva, Figma, or similar) for Instagram and LinkedIn
• Write and build email campaigns and newsletters (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
• Appear on camera as a host/presenter: product demos, interviews, man-on-the-street segments, behind-the-scenes content
• Write hooks, scripts, and captions tailored to each platform
• Shoot and edit video (phone-first is fine; CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
• Manage the posting calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Monitor trends, sounds, and formats, and adapt them to our brand quickly
• Engage with comments and DMs to build community
• Track performance (views, retention, follower growth) and report what's working in a short weekly summary

• Some marketing or content experience: coursework, internships, a personal account you've grown, freelance work, or a campus/club media role all count
• Genuinely comfortable and natural on camera
• Hands-on video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
• Fluent in short-form platforms: you know what's trending on TikTok and Instagram before we do
• Strong writing instincts for hooks and captions
• Self-starter who can run a content calendar with minimal supervision
• Based in or able to relocate to Gainesville, FL (housing provided)

Bonus points: photography skills, basic graphic design (Canva/Figma), experience with paid social.

• Pay: 18–22/hour (part-time, 20–25 hrs/week) or 38,000–45,000/year (full-time), depending on experience
• Free furnished housing in Gainesville — an estimated 12,000–17,000/year in value, bringing total compensation well above market for this role
