Identifying optimal lending solutions, the full-time remote Consumer Lending Specialist will guide members through the loan application process, analyze credit reports, underwrite consumer loans, and proactively communicate loan status while achieving sales goals. Key responsibilities Interview loan applicants to assess needs and assist in completing loan applications Evaluate credit reports, income, and collateral to determine loan eligibility and approval Proactively communicate with members regarding loan status and cross-sell additional credit union products Required qualifications 1+ year of prior lending experience Experience in selling ancillary products and identifying cross-selling opportunities Prior work experience within a financial institution, such as a bank or credit union Demonstrated success in sales and customer service Proficiency with mainframe and PC software, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Word
