This role will work closely with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to evaluate legal issues, manage cases, and ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of consumer law matters, including disputes, claims, contracts, and regulatory issues.
- Research and interpret federal and state consumer protection laws and regulations.
- Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, agreements, and other case-related materials.
- Manage assigned cases from initial review through resolution, including communicating with clients and opposing counsel.
- Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and provide practical legal advice.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- 1+ years of experience practicing consumer law.
- Strong understanding of consumer protection laws and regulations.
- Excellent legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
