This full-time, on-site role leads financial strategy and oversight across the firm and selected portfolio companies.**Key Responsibilities**- Develop and maintain financial plans and models- Oversee budgeting and forecasting- Provide strategic guidance on capital allocation and fundraising- Review and interpret financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting- Establish robust internal controls and financial processes- Collaborate with partners and founders on scenario analysis, risk management, and performance metrics- Present financial insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders**Qualifications**- Strong finance and financial planning skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and modeling- Expertise in financial statements and reporting, with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly- Advanced analytical skills, including scenario planning, variance analysis, and data-driven decision-making- Extensive experience in venture capital, private equity, or high-growth startup environments, ideally in technology sectors- Proven track record building and improving financial systems, controls, and compliance frameworks- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting to executive leadership and boards- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred**Location & Compensation**On-site in San Francisco, CA.
