Consultant, Supply Chain

• Provide tactical oversight of daily inventory fulfillment execution
• Track critical orders and reconcile Verizon’s ERP system with 3PL partners’ WMS
• Analyze warehouse operational data to identify trends and process friction
• Present concise recommendations for weekly action
• Monitor KPI execution, including receiving dock-to-stock, order accuracy, and on-time delivery
• Reconcile physical and systematic inventory and audit 3PL inventory control processes
• Manage daily operational exceptions with 3PL supervisors
• Resolve shipping and receiving delays
• Generate, maintain, and automate reporting for the supply chain team
• Support supply chain projects that improve customer experience or reduce expenses
• Document and refine SOPs for systematic and physical workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience
• Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
• Experience owning planning, forecasting, production, or reporting and analysis
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management
• Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
• Experience in large-scale operations, distribution, or manufacturing preferred as an “even better” qualification
• Experience with WMS and ERP systematic transactions preferred as an “even better” qualification
• Proficiency in SAP preferred as an “even better” qualification
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker, or process visualization software such as Microsoft Visio, preferred as an “even better” qualification
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with a minimum of three days per week in the office
• 40 scheduled weekly hours
