To support literacy initiatives in Central Appalachia, the part-time Consultant - Partner Landscape Analysis will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the region's literacy ecosystem, identifying stakeholders and opportunities for collaboration while working remotely from September to December 2026. Key Responsibilities Conduct a landscape scan of the literacy ecosystem using various research methods and publicly available resources Map organizations and initiatives that support early childhood literacy and assess potential partners for collaboration Develop a comprehensive report with findings, strategic recommendations, and a prioritized list of organizations for future engagement Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, public policy, nonprofit management, or a related field Demonstrated knowledge of the literacy landscape and education systems in Central Appalachia Proven experience conducting landscape analyses and qualitative research Strong understanding of early literacy and related educational initiatives Ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable reports and recommendations
