The Opportunity

This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity.

As a Consultant, you will help grow Wenham Carter’s presence across North America. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to connect high-impact talent with organisations shaping the future of their industries.

This is not about simply filling vacancies. It’s about understanding markets, spotting patterns, and building relationships that create long-term value.

You will begin by supporting senior colleagues on executive searches, market mapping and research. As you develop, your path can evolve. You may choose to move into full business development, focus on delivery excellence, or build long-term client relationships through account management. The direction is yours to shape.

What You’ll Do

• Support senior team members on executive search assignments across our core markets
• Conduct market mapping and research to identify talent in specialist and hard-to-reach areas
• Build and maintain networks within high-growth and emerging sectors
• Research companies, competitors and market dynamics to inform search strategy
• Support business development activity, including prospect research and pitch preparation
• Engage candidates through outreach, screening and ongoing relationship management

Who You Are

You are curious, thoughtful and commercially aware. You don’t wait for direction – you look for opportunity and act on it.

You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift. You listen carefully, ask good questions and build trust quickly.

You want to build a career in a high-performance, entrepreneurial business.

• A recent graduate with relevant internships
• Or someone with 1–3 years’ experience in sales, recruitment, consulting or another commercial role

You’ll also bring:

• Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage people at all levels
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in business, markets and technology
• Good judgement and decisiveness in ambiguous situations
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Resilience, adaptability and ambition to grow
• Depending on experience, your base will be between $70,000 - $90,000 + uncapped OTE.
• First year total OTE estimate: $125,000 - $150,000
