Base salary £109, 725 - £145, 478 per annum

The Position

Consultant in Accident & Emergency required for our NHS client in Northern England.

Job plan based on 10PA with the Consultant expected to take part in out of hours on-call commitments. The successful candidate will play a role in the modernisation of the emergency care pathway, have the ability to lead while on duty and have excellent clinical skills, with a solid A&E background. Health Service

Based in Northern England the ED department sees in excess of 44,000 attendances per year, with a mix of patients. The unit has a major and minors unit and sees a number of children. The hospital sees a number of patients brought in from the coastguard and air ambulance.

• must have previous ED experience in the UK/Ireland at Consultant level
• must have CCT or evidence of equivalent competency
• must have full registration with GMC and be on the Specialist register

The Package

• base salary of £109,725.00 to £145,478.00 per annum
• relocation assistance of up to £8000
• value of 10% increase in starting salary, maintained every year for a maximum 4 years
• secretarial support
• other benefits to be discussed
