Electrical TechnicianThis position will install, maintain and repair electrical systems, apparatus and electrical/electronic components. The National Electrical Code and all other applicable standards and specifications are followed.Primary Responsibilities:Measure, cut, bend and install conduit, using appropriate equipmentPull electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipmentMove/handle various equipment and spools of wireInstall electrical raceways and wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls, machinery and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of an experienced JourneymanProper care for material, tools and equipmentAssist electricians by performing various tasksExemplify, promote and foster our purpose of Committed to Excellence through our Core Values of Customers, Employees, Character and MasteryAll other duties as assigned and requiredRequired Qualifications:Basic understanding of electrical constructionHighly organized, detail-oriented and hard workingEffectively manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyMust possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levelsEducation and Experience:Some electrical experience preferredMust be able to pass a physical exam, drug screening, background check and must maintain a valid driver's licenseCommonwealth is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
